Does anyone have one of the originals?
I have seen a photo of one and remember seeing them as well.

The bicentennial authority in 1988 got a small (around twenty I think) batch of dual cab 110s made by Landrover. These were the first factory 110 dual cab 110s, and if I remember correctly they were V8s. They were used as transport for various bicentennial activities and promotions.
It would be interesting to hear the story about how they came about if anyone knows.

They were definately V8s. I was ogling them in 1988 when they came through Kalgoorlie, spent more time with them than the exhibition. Got offered a job touring with them cooking, wish I had taken it and had the opportunity to buy one of these 110s but did not have the money. Nice bit of kit they were.

G'day All, Mal Storey had one at Maxi-Drive about 8 years ago, it was delapidated and from memory it belonged to some-one in Cairns who incidentally wasn't very interested in the vehicle either, maybe MS can recall it and steer you in the right direction, mindfull of the fact that these purpose built vehicles are sought afteranyway cheers Dennis

I had a rear door that had come from one of the bicentennial dual cabs, it was dark green and I don't remember where I got it from. I had it on my 2A wagon but put the original back on before I traded it in.
