We are going to the Flinders this year and leaving June 29th, and taking 3 to 4 days to get there, we are looking for camps along the way.

Our intended routes are via Cohuna first stop, then Lyrup, then Arkapena then to Warraweena.

Our other route was via Darlington Point and skirting the NSW/VIC boarder to SA and on to Warraweena.

Warraweena is our first SA destination for 3 days and then we are staying at various places in the Flinders then back home, just over 2 weeks.

My question is are there some good spots to camp along these routes, preferably free camps and State forests but if not van parks or campgrounds that take pets, and of course places to see and so on.

I'm looking for local knowledge here or anyone gone a similar way.
