To go from a Defender to a Prado I'm guessing there were more reasons for the swap than a melted headlight switch. Not that I've ever driven a Defender (or even been a passenger in one, any offers?).
traded a fender for a prado, never thought I'd hear that.
anyway, good luck with that

Well, a new Prada is a bit more flash than an old 'fender
and I think the SWMBO and her buddies would like it -
I have an older Disco and gets heaps from my lot that I'm not in a Touraeg or a BMW or a Merc thingy.......
Image.....such is the modern life...
What did you do with the Landy, Miker?
Many here would happily take it off your hands....
Good luck with it.

Guys, guys guys...all right to try and salvage some cred my lease was up on the Defender and there was no replacement available. I had to purchase something and I have been quite impressed with the Prado's performance when my mate accompanied me on a couple of serious runs. A suspension upgrade and an airlocker makes it a competent (yes a touch bland) tourer.
God bless y'all !
Yes...I love(d) it but it was the straw that broke the camels back.

No Roscoe. Nothing new, even early Rangies had the same problem of melting light switches. Did the relay job on our old Stage 1 for the same reason.
