I keep kicking myself for selling the County which was being set up to be my 4WDing/camping vehicle.

My wife won't let me go to see the bloke across the road (whom I've never met) and ask what he's doing with the SIII (or Stage 1) traytop in his front yard. It's been there for months and has never moved. I think it would look good in my yard. I'd like a traytop for various jobs around the place.

He must have noticed by now the number of different LRs that are in my front yard at various times (my own, those owned by fellow forumites, and ones I borrow from or store for my local specialists) and he's never asked where he might get LR spares locally.

Well he really doesn't deserve to keep it then, does he.

    Cheers

Is your engine a 3 or 5 main bearing, mine is a 5, you can tell the difference by looking at the block on the lhs lower if it's a plain casting it's a 3 main bearing, if it has ribs it's a 5m/bearing, anyway cheers Dennis
and this 5 main bearing diesel you speak of, what would its 10 figure grid reference be just so I can come and make sure someone doesnt steal it

    Before I get chance to.

they may be more rigid and rev better but they transfer the stress elsewhere way to often for me ..... way to prone to putting exit points in castings, and getting bypass/blowbye/pistonslap/chatter on the rings etc ...
