    Met Chazza today

    Hi Guys
    Finally got around to catching up with Chazza(Charlie) today.He lives 30ks away in Narrogin.Always been meaning to call in finally did!!!!
    Nice guy,fits the typical "Landy Nutter" description perfectly.
    He is doing a really good job on a Series1 resto.What do you do when you need a new Ser1 thermostat housing,alloy water pipes and a new horn bezel????? YOU CAST YOUR OWN,I KID YOU NOT!!!!! He showed me some of his bits,top quality and home made.
    2 hobbies uniting!!!!,Landrovers and casting metals.
    If you Ser1 guys are chasing these alloy bits,give him a yell,the water pipes even had the original part numbers cast in them,VERY IMPRESSED.
    Thanks Charlie,will check to see if those springs and diff housing are still around.

    G'day Chaps,
    Of course I would drive a Defender as well if;
    1. I could find one for sale.
    2. I could afford the rego. for another motor vehicle

    It's probably more practical for me to restore one of my mouldering piles of poop
