    Where to get Steel treadplate in Perth

    Hi WALROians,

    I need a circular piece of steel tread/chequer plate - 1200 mm diameter. Probably needs to be 6mm thick or thicker, gal would be good but not essential.

    Anyone know somewhere that would be able to supply something like that for a reasonable price? I would be able to cut a circle out from a square section if that works out a lot cheaper.

    Any of the trailer building places should be able to help. I get off-cuts of aluminium checker plate from one of the places that builds camper trailers in Kal.
