    Landrover Defender Td5 Service Intervals

My new LR Defender Td5 110 was serviced at 5000 km. The climate here is hot and conditions sometimes dusty. When should the next service interval be (for oil change, for example), and what are the right service intervals after that?

    Me personally,
    I would do it at 10k km's then every 10k km's after.
The service schedule in your conditions is every 10k km's.
Just remember that the factory service schedule replaces the engine oil only no filter at every uneven oil change, the centrifuge rotor gets replaced every 20k km's & the spin on filter gets replaced at the 60k km service. I would ask for the centrifuge filter to be replaced at every oil change..but thats me.
Obviuosly changing the oil itself every 5k wont harm the motor.
    Diesel engines love fresh oil.

5k for the initial service and every 10k km after that...

I change all the oil filters and oil at the 10k mark (time doesnt count for me on this one), the airfilter gets replaced every 30k 6 monthly km regardless.

fuel filter 3 monthly20 k km or if i think i might have gotten bad fuel

trans/diffs at 50k km yearly or earlier if Ive been playing in the mud/fording

I also run the synthetic oils which helps stretch the intervals a little if I need to. (not that i reccomend it)
