I may be able to get my hands on a car trailer. It's the perfect height for a Defender with a 2 inch lift but to high for normal vehicles.

Hi Edd! Whereabouts would this trailer be? I'm hatching a plot with Ladas at the moment as it seems he's traveling from Melbourne to Sydney just before the expo and he's offered to tow a one-way trailer.
What happened to Clarkie's Defender rear end that had to be transported north?
Ron
At the moment it looks like a one way trailer costs as much as a car transporter (when fuel and local costs are added in) so back to my original question - Does anyone recommend a car transporter company?
Hi Dave
I have a tandam axle car trailer you could use...is there a time frame on geting it out of melbourne ? I can have a word with my mate when he gets back see if he can recomend someone or even see if he can back load it up to here does it drive ? but wont be able to talk to him untill next week...
Tony
Tony - Thanks for the offer. The timeframe is pretty tight as I understand it and there's no way I can drive down and get it myself at the moment. I'd be looking at booking a carrier in the next few days (if it happens at all!).
Edd - Okay, thanks. I'll get back to you if I work out a way of using that.
We got the defender shipped with Advance Car Carriers - we had to get it off the seller's hands pretty quickly (going overseas in a week), although it did end up sitting in the yard for about a week or so before it came down.
Good service, came through with no problems - was recommended by a friend who hadn't had any problems with them (works at a holden dealer).
Thanks Geoff, that's good to know. :)
