Shows how deep the water was!
I planned on coming along on Sunday 15th in my 93 range rover and spoke with Richard about the trip actually on the Thursday night beforehand.
But Sunday when l woke up and peered at the bedside clock its was 9am, l was warm and decided to stay where l was.
I regret that decision, l am sorry to have missed the great water crossing attempts made that day.
When l forwarded the video clips onto kathy who is holidaying visiting her family in NSW in Armidale l commented that the boys had a lot of fun with their toys.
Next time l won't rely on the poodle alarm to wake me, l will set the alarm clock for sure
Hi has anyone got photos?
I need a good desktop image.
I was also at the Powerlines on Sunday with the Zook club wasn't it a great day.
Didn't know AULRO was going until I spoke to The Dawg while he was waiting to go down one of the tracks.
I wasn't allowed to take the disco so had to make do with a very yellow 80 which went everywhere I wanted to take it.
Sadly the pools would have been too deep for us but we still had fun rock hopping
Discovery going deep!
There has been a lot of work done recently between the DEC, Water Corp, Trackcare and Perth4X4, to keep the powerlines open. One of the things that has been specified by the DEC is for all vehicles to stay out of the waterer crossings and stick to the track (the big issue with the Water Authority is inreased turbidity of the water which is caused by vehicles driving through water)
The other area now off limits is the mud pits on the right hand side towards the end, this is apperantly a die back area.
Allthough there are no signs posted as yet (allegedly soon) these areas have been out of bounds for a while.
