I have been offered a VERY good deal on 255/85/16 Maxxis Bighorns. Only problem is the tyre dealer is on the east coast.
Shipping is a minimum of $110, but drops to $18 a tyre on larger quantities. Anyone (seriously) interested in going in. I realise you have to get them fitted and balanced here (unless you buy rims as well), but the price difference is worth it.
PM me if you are interested - I will PM the price back.
Also may be possible to get a different tyre if you don't want the above.

Thanks Andy,
I had forgotten about those guys. I just called them, they are $5 a tyre cheaper than my next cheapest perth price, but still $15 a tyre more than getting them from over east... Decision time...
EDIT - 2nd dilemma is there are currently only 2 in Perth, and more won't be available for 4 weeks.

Ben,
Did you try Kewdale Secondhand Tyres? They sell Maxxis as well.
Ask for James
Cheers,
Gordon
Thanks a lot Gordon, I owe you one once again!!!
They came down to within a few $ of the cost of getting the east coast tyres here. Just have to wait 4 weeks...
Do you prefer beer or wine?
EDIT - forgot to say that James is on holidays for a few weeks, but Tim gives great prices as well!
