    First look here.

    Then read this thread.

    And then go here:

    Scorpion racing here for comparison.

And this is worth a look, too.

Before you jump in and make one remember D1 = possibly no airbags where as D2 = airbags. So the D2 bar has to be "airbag compatible" or the Disco isn't "roadworthy" anymore.

Actually D1 airbag bars will fit your softdash classic Vlad, a small adjustmnent to the side wrap around ends will ensure a good look, if you want to be bothered.

The chassis rails at the front are identical to a D1, because they have the same chassis. In fact if you eyeball a D1 you will see on its chassis all the mounting holes for EAS sensors etc...

As I said, the only problems with mounting are purely cosmetic, and involve the area around the side where the RR differs from the Disco indicators and front guards.

This just means the bar finishes in a different spot and can be ignored or trimmed etc then painted.

The only other difference is the angle along the base of the headlamps and grille, it is slightly different to the D1 in shape but will not pose a problem. You may have to trim a little.

I have fitted a bar from a D1 to a RR, it was a while ago but there weren't any issues other than cosmetics etc. Even the headlamp squirters will fit.

You may have less dramas with the airbag bar as the crush cans extend the bar a little more than standard.

I'll have another look tomorrow to verify if you like as I have both models in the workshop at present.
