    Mig welding book

    Hi Guys
    My boys 13th birthday today.
    I got him an auto welding helmet as he shows interest in welding.
    Are there any GOOD books(tech/TAFE etc)anybody can recomend?.Im self taught and would like an independant book of words for him to refer to.

    There is a good one but i cant remember it's name i think it was done by the same mob that make all the old manuals mite be a haynes i think tho i cant remember the title try your local libray or tafe for advice

    Andrew get him a scuba course as well..... Mate of mine is one of only 3 people in the world who does a special type of welding on oil rigs(Diver) he gets flown first class around to the jobs in the world and is on $70000USD per 15 day rotation.. Not bad for an ex boiler maker, hey

    Me too for the info on welding if that's OK. I'm in Perth next month - and beer is currency so will shout a few for your troubles.
