    Dead Battery

OK so I am all packed up ready to leave first thing in the morning for a weeks camping, just have to set the fridge but the fridge isn't holding the temp

    Yep dead aux battery

So before I leave in the morning it's off to get a new Exide Orbital.

On the up side I am glad it happened now and not tomorrow after a long days drive when we're out in the boondocks

Yes, imagine how you'd feel having it fail on the holiday when well way from town.

    Lucky bugger (in some ways)

Have a good time, yer mongrel!

    Hi Phil...

Not a good thing to happen but not as bad as my flat battery experience... was at the drive in cinema... 2 films later... went to start it.. and nothing! at least you still had your starter battery im yet to get round to a second battery (and a fridge but thats coming...)

hope you had a good week!

Hah, that is a bit lucky...

    Side note...

I hate people calling batteries flat. The only way you get a flat battery is if you run over it...possibly several times. The correct term is 'discharged'.

My tafe teacher is gonna love me!

Been a long time away has it cowboy?

I agree though, it looks dead sexy and everytime I touch it it sends a little tingles down my spine.

I've got flat batteries (slim or button) in my mobile phone, my computer mother boards and calculators to name a few. I also own an electronics business
