    Mrs Pedro has acute infective bronchitis,,
    didnt think much of my brilliant idea(said from the other side of the room) of going fishing for a few days---

    so, I'm just sitting here,,
    waiting for the cough to start,

    already have the runny nose,

    Unclean, unclean, bring out your dead. Seriously, don't give her the rum. Isolate her and keep the rum for yourself to fend off infection. Rum has well documented healing properties, ask any old bushman. Unfortunately I had to give up rum as funny things happened to me when I drank rum. I now favour akvavit or Polish vodkas out of the freezer in cases of impending ill health.

    Got to agree with Brian about the vodka, always keep a bottle of Finlandia in the fridge. Whenever I feel something about to start have a few swigs of that and dose up on garlic, chili and lemon juice. Have made it through this winter without contracting anything so far but the dreaded EKKA bugs are just around the corner.
