    Ooh, web site

Yep, in the interim, I have posted a prototype of my personal site to a free hosting site.

    http://one.fsphost.com/shorty943/website/index.htm

Nothing much but photo's at the moment, but I am working on the inhouse copy all the time and will update pretty often in the beginning.

Be gentle, it's my first time.

Your site looks good and is easy to use.

I was wondering what problems, if any, could come from Google as you are using an image from their program. Don't get me wrong, I am not picky but I was thinking about that only yesterday.

    Keep up the good work.

Dunno if its my computer but I clicked on your working life link and it went white. Did you spend your working life in a blizzard in Antartica?

No. The Arctic, for some of it, why?
Oops,. Sorry mate, I have been updating.
It went haywire on me this afternoon as well.
    All fixed now.

Thank's to all for your kind words.

Redback, mate as a solo rider, I made a good autumn leaf. All fall down.
Put trainer wheel on, much better now.

Barry, if you don't tell 'em, I wont.

    I'll be gentle...

Site looks good. Nice, clean and easy on the eyes, no flashing icons and rubbish like that. Well done.

Navigation is good and simple - too many websites try to be clever with menus and fail miserably. This one works.

My only comments are (a free advise from an ex Art Director now a freelancer):
    1. Get rid of the multi-coloured title. The dark blue colour (last word) will do nicely. There is simply no need for it...
    2. This is my personal 'thing': I prefer when website content window is dynamic, ie resizes with the browser window. Yours seems a little narrow and restrictive. You could have the text (main content) column floating while retaining menu column the same size... unless the freebee web creation software you use does not permit that sort of thing and it can be a hassle especially if this is your first time

    Anyways, congrats and well done.

    Thank's mate, noted.

    Point 1 is easy.

Point 2? Um, I think at the moment the service is still changing over to W2 and dynamics, There have been rumblings on the blogs, but all still in beta phase.

Early days yet. Surprisingly, it doesn't take long to start taking up space. Found the application I needed to build the site Friday. Started playing and learning Sunday. Let's just write Saturday off, Okay? I was. Found the free hosting site Sunday night, and the web site has grown from 1.7 Mb to 8 Mb, in 2 days.
