    The large fuses are drivers side under the bonnet and the normal fuses are behind the drop panel under the steering column, of coarse it is the passenger side if in the US or europe

    When I had a dodge accessory wired up I found it was blowing the fuse under the steering column.

    No fuses blown, how ever I now have no dash lights or rhs parking light..... I think my disco has a wiring virus.

    I have no clue as to your problem, but, you could try this;

    With the drivers door closed and key in ignition off position;

    Open drivers door

    Pull key out of ignition

    Get out of car

    Close door

    Then

    Open door

    get in and put key into ignition

    Close door

    Turn on ignition.

    This is the reset proceedure.

    Make sure you have power from the battery and all terminals are clean, before you do the above.

    A good thing to do is disconnect the battery and clean all the terminals, this is also a reset when you disconnect the battery, it is supposed to clear faults too.

    EDIT no oil in harness you have a V8

    Check the connection on the ECU too it may have LAN faults (communication faults)
