will have to go 130 or buy older I tell him.

oh everything between the roof and the wheels should be checked out....

Id reccomend something like a 130 with a tdi300 pushing an r380 easy to fix anywhere parts are common enough and they can be had while young enough that they arent going to need major repair work just the usual leak fixing and a bit of a tune.

But cab chassis mods to a deefer due to the rudimentary shaping of the body work is not that hard and can be made to look passable by someone with a sheet metal bender and cutter and some ally sheet.

For spelling call Rogets, for mechanicing call me.

Is the wagon body the same width as the S2/S3 body ie could you bolt up the back of a old truck cab??
could always bolt on a defer truck cab if one was available from wreck!!
or buy a 90td5 with very loy milage for thirty and turn it into a 147 --emm now we are thinking outside the cab!!!
anybody got any defer chassis that are good behind the firewall??
anyone seen or have design details of a 147 chassis??

if its not its bloody close. the windshield frames interchange with only minor hinge work to get them onto the bulkhead.

(roof alignments a mite more entertaining I would think
