202.1 is still close, my Defender has scratches on the roof because the local shopping centre moved some signs in the carpark. Maybe the poms measure it with driver and he's a fat b#@%^&d.

Was measuring the height of my roller door this afternoon .... which turned out to be 203cms.
Was curious which of the Land Rover products would fit under.
The Defender is the tallest so I checked ther OZ website and they are 207.3 cms (2006 model) will not fit
Just out of curiosity I checked the UK site and the new Defender on the same size tyres is 202.1cm.
So they must be utilising ground effects in the aero dynmanic package....... perhaps they got a Defender into a wind tunnel

The given measurements are probably based on the lightest spec with the highest tolerance on the suspension. When I lifted my Disco2 2", the height then matched what LandRover had written on the back of the sunvisor for the roof height.

Mine is about 204 with the factory suspension and a full tank but otherwise empty. My garage is 205.
Since I fitted the bigger tank I can use the car for a bit without filling. At the moment I've done about 500k and it's touching the door as I drive in.
You can just change the springs on the fender to 110 springs and it will drop the car about 5cm and make the ride heaps nicer. If you need to carry a big load you can just re-fit the factory springs.
I'll post a photo of the fit tonight![]()
