    A funny thing happened

I was on my way to buy a new 12ton press ( $199 ) when I stopped off at Landrover spares to pick up a new A frame balljoint.
Trevor told me not to buy the cheap $88 ones but put
in an adjustable, greasable Maxi, which he stocks.
I told him about goin to buy the press, an he said no need !
The heavy original cast fitting that they press into only
costs $10 ! He pressed the thing at no charge so now
I only have to undo the bolts and refit the new one,
which I shall do on Wednesday. Cant find my inch and an eighth socket that fits the balljoint nut so had to go and buy a new one. Probably find it on Thursday, eh.
    Cheers

I believe i saw it at Landrover spares with an engine problem one day a year or 2 ago.

If so i think that it might be the same one my dad had. I went quite well but didn't have quite enough space for what he wanted to do. A county solved that.
