Wink Defender vs the other Landrover

Had my first real drive of the 98 V8 disco that I got for the wife some 4 months ago. Its now had gas fitted and that was a good reason to go for a little spin.
Yes it is quiet, comfortable, has great vision,a warm heater, something called A/C,auto evrything, moves at some pace and has a tight turning circle.
Then I parked it up, whent in to the shed, dusted of the 130 and started to get it ready for next bush trip.
Some things can never be replaced!!!!!!!!
-but I must get arownd to refoaming the seat baces and fitting new door seals...........

(waterman aka sly on gov time)

Was the excitment too much or are you just trying to convince yourself that the 130 is better after having your buttocks massaged in the disco

Each has their good points like you can fit the family and luggage in the 130 but the heater and air con, electric windows and a stereo that you can hear are all nice things to have.

This is why I would love a Disco body on a 130 chassis, best of both worlds.

I dont know, but there is some thing about the Defender that is adictive. I gave up smokeing last year, but there is something about driving a box on wheels thats got me by the boo boo.
The same for M113 vs Lav/ Bushwaster, onroad speed will never out live offroad survivability.
