I was having a lazy day today. At work. One of those days that you really cannot be bothered. We have just finished a 12 month project and things have settled down for a couple of weeks.
So, I spent some time on the internet today. Browsing those sites which I visit fleetingly but never sprend much time on. Those which you visit during a coffee break, or by grabbing 10 minutes at lunch time.
Consequently I spent more time on this site today than I have ever spent (cumulatively) before today.
I browsed the Profiles, forums, markets, gallery etc. Posted a few threads.
Two things struck me today.
1. This is a good website. Much better than a number of 'professional' & 'Corporate' sites which I visit as part of my work (I am in IT). A decent layout, intuitive navigation in the main, and some nice features.
2. The responses to my posts have been terrific. They have shown genuine friendliness, concern and offers of assistance. The humour is also quality!
So, thanks for cheering me up on an otherwise boring and mundane day, and thanks for having me.
Cheers.
