Don't buy kitchen appliances (I'm still living that one down - how was I to know)

I agree with the take her away for a weekend, maybe a theatre show in Melbourne or over to the Barrossa.

But don't take my advice, I'm always as confused as you sound... and you've got lots more shops near by!

The B & B thing over the weekend near an old historic pub for evening frivolities is always a winner, or so they tell me

    QUOTE=amshaw;585896]G'Day All,

I need a bit of help please

Its my wifes birthday next week.....The 26th I think

I have no clue at all what to get her......any serious ideas please.....and no she doesnt Like Defenders in case somebody says that. You know who you are

Marie (Maree) is 35 I think, we have no kids (still trying, Long story),

She has heaps of jewllery and doesnt want/need more...

Doesnt need cloths inc shoes, teddy bears, got heaps of stinking body stuff, has a few watchs, Doesnt wear make up (thank God) , we hate the garden, she has no real hobbies (hard worker)......... Doesnt need anything for her car,

She usally gives me ideas or strong hints, but this year Looks like Im really going to work hard for a present idea....[/QUOTE]

Nothing says you love her like a Series LR seems she doesnt like defenders and to take care of the garden, Round up.

There are some really nice B&B's around, some are more expensive than others but they are normally a good way to go but go somewhere you know there is stuff to do that she likes but dont go over board with the activities as just having somewhere to relax I think would be on my wifes to do list more than anything.

Does she like watching DVDs? These are a good option if she does not like the weekend in luxury accommodation thing.

I made the mistake of spoiling my wife with luxury accommodation. Tent gone, camper trailer gone, Defender traded for a Discovery etc.

Well at least she got to keep the DVDs .

I gave my cook a billiard table for her 30th. It arrived on the day, so that is my story. I threaten to get her a milling machine for an anniversary present. To match the lathe and mig welder.

Bring her to Melb and stay at a flash hotel, Get a massage and go for a swim in the indoor pool. then have a Spa and relax with Dinner and a nice wine...
Go for a Horse and Carrage ride around the City and enjoy each others time...

Who knows... the child you want, might just happen that night....
