G'day Rod,
I certainly came close to buying your 110. Couldn't quite convince the missus, so I don't like my chances of talking her around to a Series...
Cheers

Of course real Landy men start out in life owning a Series or at least an Isuzu County first before dabbling with computerised TD5s
You had the chance to pass the initiation rights by buying my Isuzu 110, but you passed at the chance.
Now you'll have to be content with that nagging doubt in the back of your mind that you aren't a real Landy Man. Your condition is still curable by purchasing a second vehicle, preferably a leaf sprung Series. Warning, the relationship with the lady in your life may suffer as a result. It's all about priorities.

Yes welcome to the fold mate , Its now one big learning curve for you and your family![]()
.
I do the parking thing also.
Can't wait to mid next month when we take the Defender into a posh hotel. We have confirmed it won't fit into the underground parking but I don't think they understood what the 130 was over the phone. Might have to take a picture of the valet trying to park it amongst the BMW's and mercs![]()
I got the valet thing twice in one hit... in a SII
the first was he couldnt get the key to start it so i showed him the starter button, the second was he couldnt get it in gear so i showed him to push the clutch allll the way to the floor and count to 10 while the shafts slowed to a stop before selecting a gear..
then had to go and show the guy who was ment to be bringing it back the starter button again.....
we got some free meals for the inconvenince tho.

2 weeks ago same thing with me, cut in front of me at the lights, I had a trailer on loaded and now he has a impression of a 50tonne winch hook in his rear hatch. and two steel capped boot dents in his drivers door, he didnt even get out of his car he knew he'd messed up so took off without exchanging any pleasantries or license details..go figure
