    S2a ...to Sydney or bust

    I've found myself a SII2 in Mount Crosby, Queensland....yeah! Now for the question....how do I organise transport to Syndey? Any recommendation or advice is/would welcome.

    G'day All, If it is registered you could make/borrow an A frame and you and a friend could drive up and tow it tow it home cheers Dennis

    Thanks Dinty...the baby is not registered...if it was I'd consider driving her myself....was thinking of a transport company?

    Hook a car trailer onto you disco and go and get it.

    My cost as much as a transport co. but much more fun.

    Just ring around the towing mobs as they normally have contacts for interstate work or they will quote it them selves.

    My first thought was 'too far', but them I thought of your suggestion and thought yes the four kids would love it, then I remembered the last road trip and thought...1500km round trip is too far for a weekend - great suggestion on the towing angle -thanks for that.

    Make sure you have decent quality ratchet straps etc. last thing you want is your new 2A nestled in the boot of your disco.

    why bother with the straps? you might just get a free upgrade to a disco 2a
    And keep the CDL!
