    By landrover across russia.

My dad is currently driving from Vladivostok to Europe in his County. Here is the landy after crossing into Mongolia early last week. Hasn't had any problems with the landrover at all. (85 isuzu county)

    Love the pic

I've always thought it was be an awesome way to get to the UK and Europe, maybe start at Vladivostok (or even Tokyo!! That would be cool, do Japan then the continent) and drive all the way across.

Good luck to your father, he has a fair few miles to go

BTW how was the vehicle shipped there, how much $?

He shipped it in a container to Korea (busier than Vladivostok and so cheaper) then drove up Korea and caught a ferry to russia. Container about $1500-$2000, ferry about $300.

Yes he has a way to go. He is taking 6 months and he worked out that he had to average 100km a day to get there in that time.

Plenty of room to land there Dan! I wonder how long it will be before they would allow an ultralight crossing??
