    Hello from new member - 1980 Stage 1 V8

    Hi,

    As a new member, a few of you may have seen my recent posts about buying a 1985 County, as i've been bitten by the Land Rover Bug Thanks for all the great advice so far!

    In case you are interested, here is a picture of my 1980 Stage 1 V8 Ute

    Are you certain that pic wasn't taken the day that Stage One was picked up from the dealer?, it looks immaculate!. Chaz, you'll be lucky to find an '85 County in anywhere close to that condition, but, best of luck......

    Veeerrry Nice!

    Always fancied buying a stage 1, to me they are a historic vehicle in Land Rover's history and quite literally were a weapon in LR's fight against the Toyota 'copies'.

    Stage 1 is destined to be the one of the true classic Landies one day, I reckon. Up there with the Series 1.
