Thread: To many sections??

Doesn't worry me in the least - I don't use the sections like that.

I use the "new posts" search to read, well, the new posts, and I'll use the browsing approach when I want to "get back" to something or perhaps browse older threads. I'll search if I'm looking for something specific.

More sections makes browsing for a particular something easier, but if you are using the browsing to "keep up" with things in general, I can see it would make things painful.

Like Scrambler I use the "new posts" all the time, unless I am browsing in a particular area, and in that case I find the sections invaluable, although even there I am likely to use the search facility as well.

So I say keep the sections!

I don't use the sections either.

Just 'New Posts' or 'Search'

Unless I know a thread I am looking for is in a certain spot and recent then I will have a quick look as it will be on the 1st or 2nd page.

No problems here and I don't use the new post method. As for junk mail I love it as we don't get any out here. Friends and work colleagues now grab me a copy.
