My lifted Disco fits in my garage okay but my brothers stock height FJ45 only just fits. You need to let the tyres right down. We only did it once.

I wish I had a big shed though!

    Talking Aint it funny

Spent Sunday raising my (ex) cyclone proof carport by 50mm so I can get Fiona in and my young blokes Toymota playdough out (bloody kids).

I'll take some pics but when I did the measurements the tyres must have been down as I figured I'd have at least 25mm spare.

Now I only have 10mm at the most.

    Cheers,

I'm a tad naughty in this respect. The carpark at work has a 1900mm clearance bar. My D2 with OE roof rails run at 2080. When I bought her, I drove in around the height bar and had a colleague walk beside the car checking the clearance. Drove the 19 floors to the roof, no problems. That was with little fuel and tyres at right psi.

Perhaps not all but some have a safety margin I guess.
