OK I give up, i searched on the net to find out what tyre size is a 10r 15?
I want to know what size it is in inches.

    I asked for a 31x10.5 r15 so is it or isn't it?

while I'm asking what temperature is too hot for a tyre?
I want to know what temp to set my tyre monitor at.

Friends of mine that have been into 4wding a lot longer than me refer to 31x10.5x15 tyres as 10Rs.

So I assume a 10R is what people nowadays refer to as a 31.

You can but back in the day when people called 31s 10Rs I bet you couldn't. So people who refer to anything as a 10R would be meaning a 31 I reckon.

OK thanks I'll assume it's a 31" then as I asked for; it was just that it looks heaps bigger than the 235/75/15 I was running

    That would be because a 235/75 15 is 28.9x9.25x15

    A 31x10.5x15 is close to a 265/75 15
