Do YOU run 31x10.5r15 on a RRC any cutting?

    Hi All

I just got a set of 31x10.5r15 for my two door RRC
I have searched and read other threads and they range from :
    Naaa it'll be right.......
    to
Trim back and front arches and adjust steering.

    So.............
Do you run 31x10.5r15 on your RRC and have any personal experience/advice/problems?

    Thanks
    Steve

A lot depends on the offset of your rims. Only way to know for sure is bolt them on and try them.

I had 31's BFG muds on my 2 door with cheviot rims and/or sunnys, the rear there is no problems (until you change to a 4 door) with the front depending on spring lift (I had 2 inch spring lift no body lift), I bent/folded the rear of the front left gaurd regularly in the end just left it folded under. Also managed to hit the rear section of the front drivers guard - not sure exactly how but was at Ormeau

hmmm it sounds like it's a case of just try it maybe it will maybe it won't?
To be honest I don't really care about bending the wing a bit (not too much) as I can just cut it back afterwards so it doesn't happen again; I'd hate to slash a tyre though.

Them Mongrels are a tad bigger than a stock 31x10.5,mainly due to the big lugs.
Our rangie tractor tyres only rub on full lock or really articulated, nothing to worry about, play tyres only.

I was trawling through old threads for now reason other than bored .....

I thought I'd update this one, The 31's ????? I have are retreads so may be bigger than standard 31's? Also the tread is quite agressive.

    Anyhow did they rub?

LMAO did they ever, bent both front wings back on themselves,(or what ever it is non-poms call them ) pulled off a bit of the rubber arch flare and pushed out the rear of the rear arches.

    oooops...........
