    Cool Ford versus Landy

Now I know why I dont like working on my Fairlane, the old ZH decided to throw the radiator yesty, took me about an hour to pull the old one, found and fixed problem with the trusty old guttering iron, gave it a coat of paint and then left overnite,,this arvo I dropped it in and found out just why I dont work on it, the flamin bottom hose was so snug for room I barely just got
the thing on what with air, power steer and various coolers for these and the auto, some failry well chosen expletives were thrown around,, this was good till I decided she needs plugs, the Clevo is a big donk and with LPG and pollution gear getting to the plugs with ape sized hands was fun, my wedding ring was a Z15, biggest ever made by the jeweller ever so wrap these around a spark plug in a tiny space, ah more expletives thrown around, give me the capacious landy engine bay anytime. If I didnt love it so much I would ditch it

    Hey Mate
I have a Series3 in my shed with a Clevo,I will get you to change the plugs next time

Drivers side easypeasy, passenger a tad tight. If I go on with it I reckon a EB Falcoon Windsor would be a tad easier!!!

As the first post was about a clevo and andy even stated a clevo in his s111

I gathered it was a typo on your behalf as the talk was about clevos and not windsors sozzy

Lovely, lovely motor. That was what powered my old XR Fairmont, all Carol Shelby, suspension, brakes, go fast goodies the lot, all Shelby. Nice car, fast car.

I really liked the big 5.8 Windsor. Just never had one is all.
Yep, they built the old Windsor motor right up to 351 ci.

Just had a thought. I wonder how easy the new Tickford XR6 fits into a Landy.
