Is it to much to expect to get what we order??

    Inept suspension idiots!!!!!

Apparently 25mm is the new 2" .............. The lift kit is all fugged up, The shocks I've been given are standard length, the coils only 25mm longer.....

Got to love those stuff ups. You can tell their customer focus on how they handle this sort of mistake. The good places will take the time to sort you the worst just tell you where to go.
    Good luck.

Long ago I made it a habit of checking before leaving the counter in those types of places....

I am slightly calmer now after a feed & some yummy port.
I got the kit through a fourby engineering firm here in Brissy but had to pick them up from Carrolls suspension so some where there is a bit of misinformation..........

Monday I will get it all sorted, I hope...

Dont forget that 2" lifted springs are not always 2" longer in the free length than the standard springs, the lifted springs quite often have more coils or thicker gauge wire both of which can give a higher ride without the spring having to be longer.

A lot of aftermarket shocks for LR's arent any longer than the standard, which by most other manufacturers are long travel.

Below pics are Kings 2" HD rears and OME Nitrochagers (the longer firmer valved model) compared to the standard that came out of the car.

If they are long shocks , I would like to see short ones.
The body is actually shorter than the OEM.
Maybe 10-15MM more travel if at all , depending on internal bump stop size.

    Humble pie tastes pretty average.....lol.
Fitted them today & bugger me we have a 2"lift
They only have to swap the steering dampner, it has pins instead of eyes.

Took it for a quick blast & WOW, what a difference, out of the old shocks 3 were leaking. Feels wonderful & actually soaks bumps up now.

    Will post some pics tomorrow....
