    windscreen d2

    need to replace windscreen in d2 1999

    any suggestions for resonable price replacement?

    I added the windshield to my car insurance,,

    200 for the screen,,
    moulds are extra,,
    plus fitting,,

    Enquire about an original.
    There seems to be issues getting non-genuine screens to seal correctly.
    One fitter told me they arent quite the right shape

    We use Prestige Autoglass. They're in Sydney & do mobile fitments & can supply non-genuine glass too.
    I haven't heard of any problems with non-genuine if you wanted to go that way.
    I can't give a price but they do a good job & use your original screen moulds (well, they should do from what I've seen of their work).

    I had mine done by windscreens o'brien about 6 months ago. My insurance company has a deal with them and you just give them $100 when they are finished. When I rang O'briens they said that they only had two guys that could do it because it is quite hard. The bloke that did it was a top bloke and did a top job.
