I agree with jik22, it isn't that dark at all, and is not a problem at night, dusk or in rain. Looking at the car, you wouldn't think it has particularly dark tint.

I have darkest legal on the back seat and rear windows of my Rangie Classic.
Its good to stop the bad guys seeing if anything of value is in the car.
Helps the fridge a lot, although in hot weather a bit of tarp over the back window helps.
But reversing at night can be interesting, but all you have to do is wind down the driver's window.
Otherwise all you really have to see behind you on the road are headlights, and you can still see them with max tint.
    Mine cost 350.

I disagree... You have no need to be looking inside my vehicle... I dont look in your house windows

Darker tint reduces light into the cabin, heat and provides a mild security to the contents of the cabin.

My defender is limo tinted in the cargo side windows, lighter on rear glass and stages lighter mid windows to front...

Its also a semi reflective 1 way tint, so very easy to see out of, very hard to see into...

My vehicle, like my house, is my private area... You can watch the vehicle not my interior thanks!

had the rangie tinted a few weeks after I bought it, my previous rangie and toyota were tinted when I got them and I didn't realise what a huge difference to heat buildup inside the car it makes!

I got 15% I think it is metal film tint done, cost me about $400 for the bloke to come out and do it, but it cost more as he had to remove the factory tint which was not noticeable. They did my rear side window in a matching non metal tint for my GPS and radio aerials.

Here in SA its max 15% on front windows and rear windscreen, and NO tint on front windscreen. I don't think there is a rule about rear windows etc, I can ask, I talk to the the vehicle inspectors every day at work They hate land rovers in general say they are bad rust buckets

I don't find any issues with 15% at night at all, I have been in a 25% car for a trip and that was a bit much for me.

Factory tint had to be removed? Hahaha....

The tint is IN the glass... Just how did he remove it

And SA law is 15% block on fronts (side) and 35% on the rest of the vehicle..... So they crapped on yet again at Regency Park...

It pays to know the laws and loopholes before going to see those pack of scum.
