It's alright guys. Check this out from the same forum.

    http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/phpBB2...p't=120054

Just saw this story from Fraser on ausfish.com thought you guys might get a good laugh out of it as well
    Hopefully it's not old news

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just had to share these priceless piccies with you all. My brother and his mates came across this just after coming back over from Indian Head.

These guys had decided to wash Mum's brand new car in the lovely, flowing, freshwater creek. Trouble was, the car tightened up the channel and the sand was washed away from underneath in no time at all.

This is when it suddenly got serious. The motor was still running and of course, its a turbo... Well, it stopped running shortly after and then they faced the ignominy of having to break the back window because the central locking kicked in 30 seconds after the motor stopped. Poor buggers.

Well, my bro' and friends eventually managed to yank them out and give them a tow back. His mum was 'never going to know'. I wonder how much that cost?

I actually like Outers but I don't use it nearly as much as I used to now I come here for Landy stuff.

I don't know which back window they broke though. Can't see any broken ones.

It's good that AULRO allows guests, not like that other one!
Are you talking from experience or just speaking crap???

Outerlimits is a great source of info, especially if you have highly modified vehicles. I will admit I never go anywhere else on the site other than the "Rover" section but it is well worthwhile.
