    recommend Kalbarri accomodation - nice'ish

    Hi

The missus has decided that we are going on a little holiday for about a week to Kalbarri next easter, (not during easter holls).

We were looking at either caravan park chalets or cheaper hotel/motel type rooms.
Must have air-con a view would be nice.

Have you stayed anywhere up there you would recommend, looking at paying about $100-$130 a night.

Oh as we have an ickle baby now we dont really want somewhere next to anything loud like a pub

    Hi Stevan
We always stay in the sort of accom you are chasing.
Only done tenting in Kalbarri CVan parks, and not for some time.
MOST caravan parks run Chalets these days, there in your price range, and good clean modern family accom.
Im guessing Kalbarri has its own Tourist website, every other tourist town does.
Google it,the info will all be there!!!!
PS,dont go the old way,ie up the hwy and turn left.
Im told the coastal trip up from Northhampton is really good and is bitumen these days.
PM Sly if he doesnt see the thread,he is in Geraldton, gave me some good info last time I intended to head up that way.

Two people have told us that this place is pretty good and we can go outside of holiday season so cheaper rates :-)

    Pelican Shore Villas

so if I don't hear anything bad I guess this'll be the place

    Kalbari

All bitumen except for all the road works that they are doing along the road in many places at the moment.

Stayed there last Monday night as Geraldton was absolutely full. Bus coaches and people every where for the wildflowers.

It is going to be busy in April even outside the holidays. Book in now. The pub has fantastic meals at good prices. They even do a good pizza.

Discover West has some great deals on accomodation, check out their website as they may have a deal in Kalbari in April.
