    I want one.
    it says it powered by a 2.4 lt Common rail diesel. and has a 6 speed box so iam guessing it is the new set-up

    It does - but have a look at the firewall - cut off below vent level.

    I wonder to what extent they are a copy of the Perentie - I seem to remember reading somewhere that the ADF owns that intellectual property!

    that's what I thought too.
    It'd be interesting to see what T/case (must be a modified LT230) and rear suspension design they use.

    it looks like the same spec of WMIK that was at the expo a few years ago. they cut the top of the firewall off so that the shooter on the gas strutted lifty seat can fire his weapon with out interference from the top of the firewall.

    its good to see them doing something for the military, it means there may be a commitment to the future which means the defender should be in production in some shape or form for quite a while.
    the 6x6 will be very popular with the electric co in uk they use alot of modified land rovers
