I have one. Don't bother.

Build quality isn't great. The template provided with the kit didn't match with the TD5 i have. Had to fabricate another part to join the snorkel section to the airbox. 5 hours to fit instead of 2. What i spent in labour would have got me a fitted Safari. And even now, the part with goes through the body is pulling away slightly, so on the front edge is away from the body by about 5mm. It appears to be the plastic warping. I'm not quite convinced of its air and water tightness because of this.

Bottom line: Save your pennies and by a Safari or Airtec

I have one on my 130 300tdi, fitted well, looks good and has traveld 5000 odd kms on desert traks this year with no probs.

I got mine off ebay, took me about a hour to install it on my 02 defender .. been on there for a year or so now, 30k worth of driving.. all good.

Perhaps some different applications are better than others, I've got mates (aquaintances ) with these snorkels on a TLC 70 series & a Pajero. They seem to be as solid as a Safari, quite firm in their mountings. The only thing I would say is the windscreen pillar bracket is a bit of a one size fits all & looks it but other than that, they appear to be OK value for money, if a bit fiddly to fit. Both guys said it was very much a case of check all measurements b4 making with the hole saw.
