A P76! sheesh, who'd ever own one of them?![]()
Nothing wrong the the p76 only certain people bought them, they were technologically advanced came with a 6 cylinder motor and an 8 cylinder motor , both motors weighed the same.
Hows that! ( thats all I can remember from the adds)
and a roo couldn't jump over the bonnet. Or was that the austin 1800 add???
They made a 2 door as well ,only one I think, it was/ is at the old Museum of applied arts and sciences now the powerhouse museum.

A good imitation of a lemon.
P76 was a great car. Could fit a chello, 2 violins and a tuba in the boot with school bags. 6 kids 1 adult and a wheelchair in the car also. With a hand control mod you couldn't beat my mum of the lights either
The fuzz know our car by sight and depending on the time of day would even tell mum if she was late to pick us up while telling her to slow down.
MY father had one and never had any problems with it.
