    Land Rover travelling East Africa

    Since someone posted about the Landy doing the Latin Americas, I thought I'd post our trip's website up:

    My girlfriend and I are departing in 18 months for a trip from Cape Town to Cape Town, via Uganda.

    Lucky bstards, i have been overland Kenya to Capetown and when i got home all i wanted to do was buy a Landy and do it again. I should really had bought a FC101 while i was in the UK for 3 years and got it ready to drive home but the landy bug hadnt bitten very hard yet !

    that looks like a great experiiance. i'm jelous and wish you both the best.

    i'm sure you are well planned but if its any help have a great book by chris scott, sahara overland and also the land rover expedition book by tom sheppard if you want to borrow them for a while.
