    1. the gauge will move slowly to begin with and then fairly smartly climb to a position and under most normal driving curcumstances not move untill you turn it off.. When you load the buggery out of it It might move about a needle width higher but not much more.

    2. They tow great just not realy quick off the mark and avoid stopping on hills if you have more than a ton on the back.

    3. Cant remember but I dont remember them in my disco

    4. what do you mean who has the best diesel company? thats a very ambiguious question If you mean makes the best diesel engines I dont think you can go much past a Cat donk.

    5. that will more than likely be either driveline slop or the a frame joint on the top of the rear axle.

Blacknight has pretty much summed it up, but No.3 Yes, The dual climate A/C dials do have globes behind them.

From my experience the best place to buy good quality Diesel is an independent BP station - their fuel is great quality (often) and pretty clean. I have know several fuel operators of different suppliers so I have a slightly informed opinion :-/

Use fuel injector cleaner with ya fuel!

If i were you i'd stop using Bio fuel if you have a TD5, the injector pressure won't handle the thicker Bio diesel over time and that goes for any modern diesel, not just the TD5.

I use BP diesel where I can - mainly because they claim to have better environmental credentials than the others. ... it may not be true but they seem to be trying to make an effort.

    From BP :
BP 10 ppm Diesel is a low emission / environmentally clean diesel fuel with a sulphur content less than 10 parts per million (ppm) which can be used in all diesel engines. It is especially suitable for diesel engines designed to meet the latest European and American emission standards and those equipped with exhaust after treatment devices. This fuel enables the use of the most advanced oxidation catalysts and particulate traps to further reduce exhaust emissions. BP 10 ppm Diesel contains a lubricity additive to protect fuel system components from wear. It also includes an advanced additive to keep fuel injectors and other system components clean to maintain optimum fuel economy and engine performance.
BP 10 ppm Diesel is for diesel engines only and not for Aviation use.
    The main benefits are:
    - Reduced sulphur dioxide emissions
    - Reduced particulate emissions oxides of nitrogen and hydrocarbons emissions, even lower when after treatment is employed.
    - Lower maintenance costs through reduced engine wear
    - Exceptional storage stability
    - Enables the use of advanced exhaust gas treatment devices,
    Specifications
BP 10 ppm Diesel meets or exceeds the performance requirements of the following specifications:
Australian Standard AS 3570 of 1998
ASTM 2D low sulphur diesel fuel of 1998
    European Specification EN 590 (10ppm sulphur) of 1998 & EN 590 2000
If you require any further information please call the BP Lubricants and Fuel Helpline on 1300 139 700.
