    Perth Accommodation

I am attending a conference in the conference centre in Perth 18-22nd November. I am planning to drive there in the County.

All the conference hotels are a bit pricy for me, so I am looking for suggestions, somewhere with good public transport into the city, perhaps a cabin at a caravan park?

    All ideas welcome.

    Dirty Dawgs house.
Depends if you want in the city or in the burbs and how far you want to travel each day.
There are plenty of under $100 per nigt hotels in Perth city and some nice coastal units. But about 1/2 - 3/4 hr from the city depending on traffic. There are also plenty of hotels out Belmont way (Great Eastern Hwy).
The Novotel Langley and Sherraton are good as is Rydges and these can be had at corporate rates of $140 per night but food and drink is expensive. Whatever hotel you do choose ask for corporate rates as it is business.
Inner city hotels such as Ibis, Mercure etc would be worth checking prices.

staying in belmont for a few days, my god, don't wish that on anyone !

I'd rather stop in a backpackers in perth city than a motel in Belmont.
Saying that as long as you dont look out the window or go out of your motel it should be OK.

Are you driving from NSW to Perth ?

If you are in the city during the day anywhere on the train line is worth considering.
