have to be a tight call between pig and chicken....
About 2 years ago i bought a spit roast kit, motor rods etc, because at the time i had a severe spit roast meat fetish.
In that time its just sat on the shelf, because ive been to busy or too lazy to source a barrel to use with it. Seeing as warmer weather is around the corner, i suddenly feel motivated to create one. Ive heard a guy at Frankston market used to sell the premade barrels at a reasonable price. does anyone know if he is still there? Anyone know of anyone in vic who makes them?
In your experiences, how does a spit compare to a Weber?
Whats your favorite on a spit (no rude comments please)

PS its only a small kit fit maybe one or two chooks on it
