G'day P38arover
Ooh Dear! what a small world, mine was Flat D, Block1, Brolga St Inala, sounds like something from Stalag 99
The Thiess hangers were on Kerry Rd, they were used to assemble the White Trucks and Euclid heavy machinery for the mines and then driven down to the railway yards to load, "Clapham Junction" I think NSW rail yards, I got to drive one down in convoy once, couldn't get over the picnic set complete with beach umbrella on on the flat panel by the cabin, for driver rest breaksengine start for the diesels and all electricro/magnetic braking
I was the parts clerk at the time.
cheers
