"Because you're mine... I walk the line" la te da da
Many and varied sounds again in no particular order:
Frank Zappa - Broken Hearts are for a$$holes
The Tubes
CSNY
Steely Dan - saw them the other night - awsome
The Doors
Peter Gabriel
Gary Moore
Santana
Miles Davis
Mozart
Bad Co.
Yes
The list goes on. I must say I find (c)rap and Hip Hop a bit tedious. Heard one Country song I reckon you have just about heard them all. I get my Country fix each year at Louth races where it is played 24/7 for three days solid. If I hear the "Walk The Line" soundtrack one more time I will scream.

NO RAP, NO HIP HOP Geez I hate it!
Everything else is OK, depends on how far in to the trip we are, whos awake and what time it is!
When I was on air on 2NI, I used to p off the listeners who wanted County by playing The Ski Instructor's Daughter - it was one of those songs from Doug Mulray's old radio programme and it took the pee out of Country.
You know what I mean, while Daddy was entertaining ski bunnies the daughter has a skiing accident and loses both legs, etc.

I must admit that the radio or stereo is never on in the house, only the garage. In fact, after we returned to Australia in 1993, it wasn't even connected in the house until a couple of year ago when my son was laid up after his bike accident.
It rarely ever gets used and it is a very good system (or was in 1991 when I bought it). My old Harmon-Kardon amp and KEF speakers are the garage sound system.
