    Electrical Fault.. Good Luck??

Well the Defender blew the fuse for the radio, and interior lights again. I have a short somewhere since Cape York. Had the I-pod ear phones in on the way to work, and they block some of the "ambient" noise. Heard a grinding noise coming from the back. Sounds like brake disk rubbing. About time to check the brake pads?? Once at work figured I'd check if there was anything out of place. I was shocked to see every one of my L rear wheel nuts barely on the studs. Seemed the rubbing noise was the wheel wobbling on the wheel studs. I have changed the tyres to my road tyres a fortnight ago, and must not have torqued the nuts up on that wheel. I doubt that someone was trying to steel the wheel, as the nuts were still in place. I reccon I was very lucky, as the wheel coming off at 103kph might have been very dramatic.
Moral of the story: Check the nuts after a day or so, to make sure they are still tight.
