    Boat loader

I have just brought a 3.5m tinnie. It will have to be a car topper as I tow a camper trailer. My question is do I buy a boat loader or bars. Any thoughts people.

In hindesight I would not bother with an electric winch and use a 1:3 or suitable ratio hand winch.

Good excuse to buy a winch bar though!

I think Rola make a boat and loader system... probably rediculous price though!

I carry my tinnie no probs, on and off but I can also carry a Ford 6 so I have an advantage, if u use bars use strong Rhino type bars and always use a bow rope down to your bumper or tow hook, ever seen a tinnie get picked up by the wind and slammed down into the road, they make expensive scrap. U can simply fit two rollers at the back and this makes life much easier pushing it up if u have a wagon type roof, but its preferance some people like minimal fuss and it done quick and easy, dont use crappy tie downs from Supercheap, and always run a rope over even if u use tie downs
