Fuels cheap. Filled up at Haast, $1.84 a litre.

Diesel is strage here, $1.30 BUT you have to pay a separate tax based on milage?

Loads of diferent vehicles here, loads more than we get in Oz.

Haven't seen a cop or a problem that needs a cop.

I had a ride around town in the tram.

It's a good way to get some history about the city.

    PS TV is crap here.

Haast is quite dear, Diesel should only be $1.13 a litre.

I love NZ too. Only been there twice though. Once North Island and once South Island.

Doesn't matter what direction you drive there is something great to see.

    Can't wait to go back.

As for NZ tv being no good, I loved watching the news. Just seeing what is going on and laughing every time they say "across the ditch"

The first time I went to NZ I thought $1.20 was highway robbery. The second time we were paying that in Oz and NZ was paying $1.60
