    Scollops - MIA?

Getting worried - now 24 hrs still no word!!!

The new Defer is either so good he is still driving around or he is so disappointed he has comitted hari kari.

Or now he feels too superior to talk to us mere old series vehicle owners????

depends on where you go... and how big the fuel tanks are...

in a series about 1760Km including fuel stops at a comfortable not screaming its nipples off 80 kph

and in a deefer 2090km under the same conditions but nearer 100KPh...

Love to have a fuel range like that. Obviously not with the standard 75 litres That's one of the few complaints I have with landrover...a vehicle that shouts "I am a touring vehicle", but has less range than most sedans.

I dunno about that at its most abused 75l lasted about 4 hours (continuous driving) in big red I generally dont like to go more than 3 hours without stopping for a rest break of at least 5 minutes and thats plenty of time to dump a jerry in. driven liesurely it lts good for nearer to 8 (with breaks for driver change) and those are highway figures.

but when you have 3 44's plumbed up as the reserve tank in a series fuel stops are few and far between.
