mystery number stamped on RRC dash?

    Hi All
When I pulled the dash out of my 81" 2 door RRC I noticed a number "1295" stamped on the printed metal plate in front of the heater that tells you all about when to engage to diff lock, how it should be towed etc.

Any ideas if this is a Landy thing ?

Had the RRC for about 2-3 years now dunno why I have never noticed it.

In the absence of anyone else - highly probable that it is a Leyland number. Your RR was probably assembled in Australia by Leyland - and either it reflects the body number or is the 1295th they assembled.
